RUSTIC ROAD #1
IN WISCONSIN REPORTS
Dedicated in 1975... this stretch of road in Taylor County near Rib Lake crosses through hills and valleys created by glaciers nearly 12-thousand years ago.  It is the first road designated a "Rustic Road" in Wisconsin. The State Legislature established the Rustic Roads program to preserve what remains of Wisconsin's scenic, lightly traveled country roads.
