Finally tonight, our singing commentator, Peter Leidy, was selected this year by the Wisconsin Broadcasters Association as the best commentator in the state. We are thankful for that. Pete's thankful too. And this week before Thanksgiving. Here he is in this week's "End Insight" singing his political things. Peter Leidy.    

Peter Leidy:
It's getting to be that time of year. You know, Thanksgiving is almost here. I'm feeling it loud and feeling it clear. I sure am thankful today. I got family that loves me ever so. I got Facebook friends that I don't even know. I get to sing a song on a TV show. Hey, I sure am thankful today.   I'm grateful for the open gubernatorial race with Barrett and Walker and what's-his-face. I probably won't run, but just in case, I'm thankful for your support. You’ve seen ads saying California cows are glad. Well, they're lying big and they're lying bad. But guess what? New Zealand is where they're filming the brand new ad. I mean, the happy California cows are actually going to be happy New Zealand cows. They should film it here in the real Dairyland. In fact, they oughta just concede that Wisconsin cows rule. Duh, I'd be thankful for that. Former state rep Terry McCormick wants to give Steve Kagen a big ole kick. She just made a video that's  really kind of weird, but pretty slick. She's mad as hell on youtube. The ex-Alaska gov is on a book tour spree. She wants to be taken seriously. She ain't gonna settle for VP. Sure am thankful for Sarah P. Well, I've never seen lipstick on a cow. And I've never seen Russia from my house. But I'm glad you're watching "Here & Now." I sure am thankful today. I sure am thankful today.
