District Attorneys across Wisconsin are sounding the alarm over what they say is a shortage of prosecutors in their offices. They say a recent state audit proves the need for more attorneys to handle the increasing caseload. But how will they be able to hire more at a time when the state is facing a huge budget deficit? In Wisconsin reporter Frederica Freyberg looks at the impact and consequences of this problem throughout the state.

What if nothing conventional was working and your best hope was a treatment you couldn't afford? This is what one Wisconsin woman had to figure out. With cancer, experimental medicine, and an insurance industry holding her future in their hands, Pattie Boehlke sought any help she could find. Help came in the form of a patient advocate who helped work with the insurance companies to find a way to afford the treatments. Through it all, she put her thoughts on paper and wrote poems about the places that brought her happiness to cope with the pain of a life threatening illness.

Video games have become a common fixture in the average American home, but how are they made? Take a peak behind the scenes of Raven Software, the video game developers who created "Marvel Ultimate Alliance" and "Quake 4." We visited their audio, scanning, and Motion Capture studios at their head quarters in Middleton, Wisconsin.

Trooper Deploy

A father and son team from New Richmond will be among the nearly 3,500 Wisconsin National Guard members who will deploy to Iraq in the coming weeks. It is the largest deployment of Wisconsin National Guard forces since World War II. The historic proportion of the operation is not lost on Bruce and Victor Wozniak, both of whom volunteered to deploy with the 32nd Brigade. Meet the Wozniaks and find out why they want to serve and what they're leaving behind at home while they're in Iraq.
