Hodag History
Thursday, October 28, 2010

We go in search of a mysterious horned creature just in time for Halloween. The Hodag is a legend in the Rhinelander area which dates back to the late 1800’s. Wolves in Wisconsin

This WPT special examines the history, return and current controversy surrounding gray wolves in Wisconsin. Once an endangered species, gray wolf populations are increasing across the state. The return of this top predator, however, is not without problems. Wolves in Wisconsin: An In Wisconsin Special contains remarkable rare footage of wolves at night. The images are the result of a four-year quest by In Wisconsin Reporter Jo Garrett and WPT Videographer Frank Boll, an experienced animal photographer, who faced tough challenges to capture video of the elusive predator.
