Frederica Freyberg is a reporter for In Wisconsin and anchor of Here and Now on Wisconsin Public Television. After nearly twenty years as a commercial television reporter, in markets including Madison, Green Bay, Milwaukee and Minneapolis, Freyberg joined the WPT staff in 2003. In addition to many other awards, she is a three time winner of the Edward R. Murrow Award for her In Wisconsin reporting. Originally from Madison, Freyberg is a journalism graduate of UW Madison. She and her husband, Gary, have three children.

Andy Moore
Andy Moore

Andy Moore is a Senior News Producer at Wisconsin Public Television. He currently produces the weekly political news program Here and Now. He also produces political specials including award winning public forums and candidate debates. Additionally, Moore is the creator and Producer of the 30 Minute Music Hour, WPT's music performance and interview show.

Moore grew up in Louisville Kentucky and came to the UW-Madison on a full swimming scholarship. He began his broadcast journalism career at Wisconsin Public Radio. He has been with WPT since 1987. In 1989, together with former Executive Producer of News Dave Iverson, Moore created the WeekEnd program. The live, one-hour weekly series won numerous journalism awards over its 12 year run.

Moore is also an accomplished print journalist. His monthly column in the Madison newsweekly ISTHMUS, "Close to Home," has won Milwaukee Press Club's "Best Lifestyle Column" category three times. Moore's other freelance clients include Madison Magazine and the Seattle-based music journalism publication, No Depression.

Moore lives on Madison's near-east side with his wife Peggy who is a third grade teacher at Marquette Elementary. The Moores have one child in college and two in high school.

Adam Schrager
Adam Schrager

Adam Schrager has covered politics for nearly 20 years, most recently at KUSA-TV in Denver. Previously, he worked in La Crosse, Madison and Milwaukee in the 1990’s. Schrager is the author of The Principled Politician, a biography of former Colorado Gov. Ralph Carr whose stand on behalf of Japanese Americans after Pearl Harbor would cost him his political career. The book led state lawmakers to name the new state justice center after the former Colorado chief executive. His latest book is The Blueprint: How the Democrats Won Colorado (and Why Republicans Everywhere Should Care), co-authored with Rob Witwer. It has been lauded by The Wall Street Journal, The Washington Post and political figures on both sides of the political spectrum.
In his career, Schrager has won numerous journalism accolades, including more than twenty Emmy awards. He taught a journalism class at the University of Denver and at Marquette University and has conducted dozens of seminars on the impact of the media on politics. Schrager has a bachelor’s degree in history from the University of Michigan and a master’s degree in broadcast journalism from Northwestern University. He began his career in 1991 with CBS News in London and worked for numerous stations in Wisconsin before moving to Denver in 1999.
Schrager lives in Madison with his wife, Cathy, and their daughter, Harper, and their son, Clark.

Zac Schultz
Zac Schultz

Zac Schultz started in the news business the Monday after he graduated from the University of Wisconsin, and he doesn’t anticipate leaving until the Friday he retires a few decades in the future. Zac spent a decade reporting for different TV stations in Wausau and Madison before coming to Wisconsin Public Television. He has won numerous awards for his coverage of Wisconsin politics and even a few awards for his coverage of the lighter side of news.
Zac is originally from Lodi, Wisconsin and has spent his life exploring the state. He is especially interested in the outdoors and sports.
Zac lives in Madison with his wife.

Christine Sloan-Miller
Christine Sloan-Miller
Christine Sloan-Miller is the Executive Producer of News and Public Affairs for Wisconsin Public Television. Sloan-Miller oversees productions such as WPT's two weekly, local series, Here and Now and In Wisconsin, as well as debates, documentaries and live coverage of events such as the State of the State and State Budget Addresses.  She also oversees WPT arts and culture programming such as the Wisconsin Gardener series, Concerts on the Square and the 30 Minute Music Hour.  Sloan-Miller joined WPT in 1999 as the Associate Producer of WeekEnd.

Prior to moving to Madison, Sloan-Miller worked for seven years during the 1990's in Miami, including stints at Miami's CBS and ABC affiliates and the Archdiocese of Miami's television production studio as an award-winning producer.  She traveled in the mid-90's to Haiti, Honduras and Cuba to produce documentaries.

While with WPT, Sloan-Miller has received several awards from the Northwest Broadcast News Association and the Milwaukee Press Club. Under her guidance, the work produced by In Wisconsin has also won multiple Edward R. Murrow awards and four consecutive USC Annenberg Walter Cronkite National Awards for Excellence in Political Journalism.

Sloan-Miller was born in Minneapolis and lived in several small towns throughout Northern Wisconsin before returning to the Twin Cities to earn a B.A. in Speech-Communications from the University of Minnesota.

Sloan-Miller lives in Madison with a band of rowdy boys…her husband and two young sons. They only occasionally pine for the balmy South Florida weather.
